What drew you to foodscaping as a career?
Foodscaping has a plethora of applications. I'm drawn to this holistic field because I want to reinstate resilient habitats, reduce inequalities, and bring communities closer to their roots (i.e. nature!).

If you could pick one edible landscaping plant that doesn’t work in your zone and make it work in your zone, what would it be and why?
Moringa is a tree that typically thrives in tropical climates and wouldn't survive our mid-west winter conditions without taking some precautions. This all-star edible is resilient in harsh growing conditions, packed with nutritional benefits in nearly all parts of the plant, and can even purify water with its seedpods. This is my edible weapon of choice.

What foodscaping technique, idea, or process are you excited to learn more about in the future and why?
I'm excited to expand my knowledge of permaculture design, herbalism, and wild foraging! I'd like to create a farm-to-table experience that inspires curiosity, creativity, and healing.

What’s your go-to dinner after a long day?
My go-to dinner is a dressed up bowl of spicy ramen with lots of veggies, a soft-boiled egg and side of rice or dumplings. Simple, healthy, and delicious!
