The Foodscaper Conference is a two day live virtual summit on January 24 & 25 for professional foodscapers.
At The Foodscaper Conference, we explore the process of designing, building, and maintaining foodscapes for clients.
Our goal is to help professional edible landscapers create a regenerative impact in the world.
This conference season, we're focusing on fostering professional connections and networking opportunities with an all live and virtual format for real time engagement.
Our attendees agree that robust engagement and community building are what made makes this conference a big success.
We'd love for you to help us lead the foodscaping movement forward!

Who are the speakers?
We are featuring leading pro foodscapers from across North America. These leaders have industry expertise that will save our attendees time, money, and mistakes.

During the conference (January 24 & 25), you'll take questions from the audience in a live Q&A format following your presentation.
Presenters, participation in the conference requires:
- Planning a 45-60 minute highly visual and engaging presentation on your particular area of foodscaping mastery by January 1.
- Reviewing your presentation slides with our staff between January 1 and Jan 15. Slides are subject to editing by our staff. Powerpoint or Google Slides are preferred.
- A PDF handout version of your slides for our attendees. Extra credit goes to those who offer supplemental handouts

How to Create Conference Presentation Our Audience will Love
Our attendees crave original content that feels fresh and contributes to their professional development.
Here’s what we’re looking for in a presentation:
- Original content catered to our target audience: experienced hobbyist and professional ecological edible landscapers who work with clients in residential and commercial contexts.
- Practical, pragmatic, boots-on-the-ground information that pro foodscapers can learn from and quickly apply their own business.
- CASE STUDIES. Nitty-gritty, detail-oriented examples, and implementation practices that showcase. Show us EXACTLY how you do it!
- Set our attendees up for success with information they can run with on a busy schedule
A bit more about our audience:
- You'll be addressing mostly professional and aspiring foodscapers, people who make their living designing and installing food-producing landscapes for clients, for a living. Some of them are focused on vegetable gardens and others on more perennial edible landscaping. We’ve gotten feedback from people that they are not just interested in being better growers but also being better business operators and team members for their company. Help us support their growth.
Here’s what we’re NOT looking for:
- Regurgitated content. Sure, you can draw from your previously curated slides or content, but we want a message created specifically for our pro foodscaper audience.
- Broad strokes - we’re excited to hear you dive deeper with technical details
- Presentations that heavily promote your services, courses, or trainings. We'd love to hear about what your offer, but keep the focus on continuing ed
- Theoretical, heady, concept-based presentations that lack real-world application or examples. Answering “how exactly did you do this?” not “what did you do here?”
Extra Credit:
- Our audience LOVES handouts, presentation slides and and supplemental material they can learn from.
